About the Role:
As Global Head of People Operations, based in Romania, you will lead and coordinate Besedo’s HR operations across all regions. You will ensure consistent, compliant, and scalable people processes while supporting business goals globally.
This role combines strategic ownership with hands‑on execution, covering HR operations, wellbeing, compliance, performance frameworks, and work environment governance. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to strengthen engagement, leadership practices, and Besedo’s global culture – One Besedo.
Your Responsibilities:
Act as the central point of contact for HR across all countries where Besedo operates.
Ensure global consistency in HR policies, procedures, and documentation.
Support and coordinate legal compliance in employment practices across all jurisdictions.
Liaise with Finance on payroll coordination and related processes.
Drive HR reporting and analytics to support business decision‑making.
Own responsibility for employee wellbeing and the overall work environment.
Shape and reinforce a company culture that enhances engagement, fosters a high‑performing and inclusive workplace, and strengthens a shared sense of global unity.
Support management development and the implementation of leadership principles.
Work Environment (Physical & Remote)
Ensure the global service delivery teams have adequate workplace equipment.
Oversee physical office facilities and support effective remote working practices.
General
Collaborate with key stakeholders to achieve alignment and synergy across the business, in line with company vision and objectives.
Undertake additional responsibilities as required to meet business demands and maintain service levels.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
Strong experience in global HR operations, including multi‑country policy implementation and governance.
Solid understanding of employment law and HR compliance across different jurisdictions.
Proven ability to manage HR administration processes such as contracts, onboarding/offboarding, performance reviews, and PIPs.
Experience partnering with Finance on payroll coordination and people‑related reporting.
Analytical mindset with the ability to drive HR reporting and people Analytics.
Demonstrated expertise in wellbeing, employee engagement, and work environment initiatives.
Strong capability to shape and embed company culture across diverse and distributed teams.
Experience supporting leadership development and management frameworks.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in a global, cross‑functional environment.
Comfortable working independently with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach in a fast‑paced organization.
Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
