About the Role:
As a Senior ICT Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of the ICT equipment of the company, both locally and on remote sites when required.
You will provide up to Level 3 support for internal issues via the ticketing system or other communication channels used by the company. Also, trigger and participate in ICT and Infosec projects to make new deployments or improvements over existing implementations.
And, you will assist the Malta ICT Team and the Head of Infosec in the queries and/or implementations related to IT, data protection, and information security, aligned with internal procedures and local regulations (Europe and Colombia).
Your Responsibilities:
Support the IT strategy in order to help the company meet its goals and long-term vision.
Timely reaction to, and resolution of, all and any fault tickets, including communication with the client, both to ensure understanding and promote client confidence in the ticketing process.
Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems, applications, and security monitoring tools.
Responsible for maintaining Intune, Jira, Confluence, and other cloud applications managed by ICT.
Responsible for maintaining Security Monitoring systems and Vulnerability Scan Tools.
Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks via Intune and other technologies.
Talking to employees or clients through a series of actions, either face-to-face, chat, or over the telephone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
Monitoring, analysis, and reporting of security events and incidents to identify irregular activity and security violations
Troubleshooting system, network problems, and security events/incidents.
Diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults, replacing parts as required.
Providing support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
Supporting the roll-out of new applications.
Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time.
Testing and evaluating new technologies.
Provide support to internal users via the ticketing system, both local and remote.
Take part in a rotating on-call system to assist during out-of-office hours, receiving compensation in the form of an added allowance.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
5+ years of ICT Tech support experience
Microsoft 365 services experience
Microsoft Intune experience
SOC experience
Vulnerability Management Experience
PowerShell Scripting
