About the Role:
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will be the key point of contact for employees and managers at our Malta office, supporting a positive, compliant, and high‑performing work environment. You will partner closely with leaders to provide both strategic and hands‑on HR support, manage employee relations, and drive people initiatives that support business goals in an international, fast‑paced organisation
Your Responsibilities:
Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and managers in the Malta office.
Coach, train, and support managers to take increased ownership of people‑related responsibilities.
Partner closely with managers to build capability in performance management, employee relations, and engagement.
Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract changes, promotions, and exits.
Lead and support complex employee relations matters, guiding managers through investigations and disciplinary processes.
Provide hands‑on performance management support, including coaching, development plans, and improvement actions.
Drive key HR processes and projects such as performance reviews, salary reviews, bonus schemes, and employee surveys.
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies while ensuring legal, regulatory, and compliance standards are met.
Oversee Health & Safety, ISO27001 requirements, business continuity planning, and HR governance.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise:
3–4 years of experience in an HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or similar senior HR role.
Proven ability to coach, train, and upskill managers to take increased ownership of people‑related responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of employment law, HR compliance, and best HR practices.
Experience supporting managers with performance management, employee relations, and disciplinary processes.
Strategic mindset combined with a hands‑on, pragmatic approach to HR delivery.
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Ability to balance business objectives with employee engagement and wellbeing.
Highly organised, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential matters.
